Jackson Man Convicted of Murder

JACKSON, Miss.  - A 24-year-old Jackson man has been sentenced to life prison after being convicted of murder in a 2007 shooting.

Publish reports say Mark Armon was convicted Wednesday by a Hinds County jury in the death of Christopher Adagbonyin.

Prosecutors say Adagbonyin was found dead in a car on a city street on Sept. 14, 2007. He had been shot in the head.

Armon is one of two individuals charged in Adagbonyin's death.

The other, 19-year-old Dominique Mobley is awaiting trial. He is out of jail on a $75,000 bond.
