The Salvation Army of Jackson is collecting school supplies for area youth as part of it's "Tools for School's" supply drive. Collection boxes are placed in Walmart stores in Ridgeland, Pearl, Richland, Flowood, Madison, and Clinton.
Parterning with Y101 radio, the army is asking people to pitch in and help our children by donating paper, crayons, markers, glue sticks, pencils and pens. The Corps Commander, Captain Ken Chapman said, "Back to school time is exciting for children and teachers."
Donations are always needed to offset the costs of services. Visit www.salvationarmy.org. You can also call 601-982-4881.
